Junior Harewood is the Chief Executive Officer of UnitedHealthcare of New York for Employer and Individual health plans.

In this role, Junior is charged with leading the commercial health plans in New York to successfully deliver affordable, quality health care programs to employers and plan sponsors, which improve the overall health and well-being of its members. He is responsible for the day-to-day internal operations and external contact with a variety of constituents including customers, prospects, brokers, healthcare providers and community/civic leaders. He has legislative and regulatory oversight and is responsible for the overall growth and P&L performance of the Health Plan.
